Over on TechRaptor today I posted a new article, about the pre-constructed deck Deep Clue Sea that is releasing alongside the new set Murders at Karlov Manor.

Note: Please click on the article and read it there! it tells TechRaptor people are reading what I write and I can write more pieces there!

In this piece I’m going to do a bit of an accompanyment to it and discuss some of the cuts and the other cards I added in the upgraded decklist that didn’t quite make the ten additions I highlighted. I won’t be going on very long here but just a bit.

Deep Clue Sea Additions

Beyond the additions I covered in the article I added a couple other cards in the Deep Clue Sea upgraded list.

Jaheira Friend of the Forest

Jaheira, Friend of the Forest from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate

Much like the Five Hundred Year Diary in the main article, Jaheira lets you get mana from your clues, this time directly and with green. Other tokens also can make mana for you, so it all turns out well and keeps you in mana to keep messing around with your clues.

Seedborn Muse

Seedborn Muse

I put the Muse in over Wilderness Reclaimation because while it’s more vulnerable, it untaps artifacts and other things you have. Unusually for a green deck a lot of your ramp is in artifacts, and you have burst makers in there too, so you want the untap all option.

Rampage of the Clans

Rampage of the Clans

Mentioned in the removal segment, I wanted to shout out Rampage of the Clans because in the deck it functions as not only removal but an alternate win condition by turning a bunch of clues into 3/3 Centaurs. Cast this at EOT of an opponent’s turn, destroy the plans of your opponent, and have an army at your call.
